十二月初，“启智班” 国际化线上交流活动如期举行。云南宁蒗县希望小学的教室里，孩子们穿着崭新的衣服，坐在电脑前，紧张而兴奋地等待着活动开始。妞妞坐在最前面，手里握着一张写满英语句子的纸条，嘴里不停地默念着，生怕自己到时候说错话。
“活动开始了！” 叶菲的声音传来，孩子们立刻坐直身体，眼睛紧紧盯着电脑屏幕。屏幕里，出现了一群外国孩子的笑脸，他们用生硬的中文打招呼：“你好！中国的小朋友们！”
孩子们立刻用英语回应：“Hello! Welcome to our online exchange activity!”
交流活动正式开始，孩子们依次介绍自己的梦想和国家的传统文化。小宇拿着自己画的航天模型，用英语介绍道：“Hello, my name is Xiao Yu. I want to be a scientist. I want to invent a spaceship that can take children from mountainous areas to space. This is a model of a spaceship I drew. I hope you like it!”
屏幕里的外国孩子纷纷鼓掌，一个金发碧眼的小男孩说：“Your dream is great! I want to be a scientist too. I want to invent a robot that can help people do housework. Maybe we can work together in the future!”
